Our story

Why we started

Our founder, Evgeniy Kurbanov, came to Japan in 2009 to study at a language school. There was no one to help with choosing a school or with the paperwork — he did it all himself. After he arrived, it took him more than two months to get his papers and permission to work, and his first part-time job was selling bags in an electronics store.

Years later — from language-school student to company president — he started EasyTravel in 2020 to make the move easier for the students who come next. JapanEasy brings the same free help to students worldwide.

If your plan is unlikely to work, we tell you straight away. That is better than an application that ends in a refusal.

We live in Japan and went through the same immigration steps. Our advice comes from our own experience.
