japaneasy.io and the JapanEasy service (“JapanEasy”, “we”, “us”) are operated by Chepolinko Inc. These terms apply to the website and to all services offered through it.

By using the website, sending an application or contacting us, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our cookie policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

We help students who want to study at a Japanese language school in Japan:

• free consultations and school suggestions;
• help with the school application and the documents for the Certificate of Eligibility and the student visa;
• contact with the school in Japanese;
• advice before and after you arrive in Japan.

These services are free for students. Partner schools pay us a commission when a student enrolls; the school’s fees are the same as when you apply directly.

We may add optional paid services, such as an airport pick-up or a personal consultation. They are never required for your application. Before you order one, we show you its price and its cancellation and refund rules, and you pay only after you agree to them.

You must be at least 16 to apply. If you are under 18, you need the consent of your parent or guardian.

• Give true, complete and up-to-date information and documents.
• Tell us about changes that affect your application.
• Use the website lawfully and do not try to disrupt it (for example by hacking, scanning or flooding the forms).

The school decides whether to accept you, and Japan’s Immigration Services Agency and the embassy or consulate decide on your Certificate of Eligibility and visa. We prepare your application carefully but cannot guarantee the result. You pay tuition and other school fees directly to the school, under the school’s own rules, including its rules on refunds.

Prices, dates and programs on this website come from the schools’ own materials and are checked regularly, but schools can change them. The school’s current documents always take priority.

Texts, graphics, logos and code on this website belong to Chepolinko Inc. or are used with permission. Photos of schools belong to the schools or are used with permission. Do not copy them without our written consent; short quotations with a link to japaneasy.io are fine.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or from decisions made by schools or authorities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date below.

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes are handled by the competent courts of Japan for the registered office of Chepolinko Inc. in Tokyo.
