What makes it different
Japanese and college in one place
This is the Japanese department of a vocational IT college: after the language course you can take an exam and move on to the college’s programs for international students — business, IT management or hospitality — and earn a senmonshi diploma (専門士) in 2 years. No need to change school, city or home.
Next step
The school’s own IT and business college
Graduates of the Japanese department who meet the requirements get priority entry to the college. Two years of IT, Japanese and business — and a senmonshi diploma.

Japan International Institute of Cybernetics (日本国際工科専門学校 日本語科) is the language department of a vocational college founded in 1985 as Meisei (明生情報ビジネス専門学校; the current name dates from May 2021). The Japanese department has been running since 1997, and today about 600 students from 15+ countries study here.
The school is in Shin-Matsudo, a student area with several universities and colleges, affordable apartments and direct JR Joban and Musashino lines. The college belongs to the Asahi Gakuen group, together with Funabashi Japanese Language Academy and Tokyo Meisei.
The main course is university preparation over 1 year 6 months or 2 years: all four skills, the JLPT and the EJU, essays and interviews, and a research plan for graduate school. Classes are formed by level. Best of all, you can stay on at the college itself: programs for international students in business, IT management and hospitality, a senmonshi diploma (専門士) and help finding work in Japan.
